Which line is at 0 degrees latitude?

Equator

The line at 0 degrees latitude is the equator, an invisible belt that circles the middle of the Earth from east to west. Latitude lines measure how far north or south you are from this line. The equator sits at 0 degrees and divides the world into the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. If you go north or south from the equator, you’re counting degrees of latitude away from it, up to 90 degrees at the poles. Desert, river, and bay are real-world features, not lines that circle the globe, so they aren’t at 0 degrees latitude.
